Early Life

Maria graduated from Christian Academy in Japan. Born from a Japanese Mother and a father who is French-Canadian, she claims that her ability to read and write in English is stronger than that of her Japanese. As a youth, she enjoyed playing hockey on a regular basis, and often went to karaoke. As a teenager, Maria debuted in a 30 second television commercial in 2002 for DARS Chocolate along with Japanese pop singing duo, KinKi Kids.

Career
