Keeani Lei was born in Denver, Colorado to a Panamanian father and a Chinese mother, but she grew up in Panama. When she turned 19, she moved to Florida with her mother, and she started attending the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, where she graduated with an associate's degree in graphic design.
