PornstarEmpire.com: How did you get into the adult industry?
Tyler Faith: I actually started five years ago. Because I was dancing - like house dancing - I wanted to feature so I decided to start doing movies so I could start featuring. So when I started I did girl/girl scenes and then I left for personal reasons. I just started back again in July.
Q: Why did you decide to come back?
Tyler Faith: I love it. And I felt like I started something I really was in love with and I wanted to become a part of, then I had no choice but to stop. When it was right I started back.
Q: You've signed with Jill Kelly Productions as a contract girl. Why did you decide to sign with JKP?
Tyler Faith: I felt extremely comfortable with Jill. With her, with the decisions that she makes, the way she runs the company, that she used to be talent. So I feel extremely comfortable with her and how she can relate to our feelings. And take that into running a company also.
Q: I was just informed by a little voice inside my head (Jason Sechrest, JKP Publicist) that you live with Jill...
Tyler Faith: Yes, I live with Jill. She signed me before we started living together. We actually met like five years ago, became really close friends, and totally get along so great. It was just like one of those things. We were both looking for a place, and we were just like let's move in together. And it doesn't affect our work together at all. I go to work, I do my job, so there's no problems. I do my job, and that's it, and we both don't take our work home. We have our own normal life at our house.
Q: Now I am guessing by your accent you come from ... Jersey?
Tyler Faith: Boston.
Q: Boston. But close enough... What was growing up in Boston like for you?
Tyler Faith: You know what? Boston was great. I love Boston. It's very cultural, its very historical. There's all kinds of colleges there. There's Harvard, Yale. There's great, great schools there. I think from like living there to living here people have different values and different morals, and there's nothing wrong with it. It just seems like that people out here aren't that family oriented. Where I am from family is super, super important to me. It just doesn't seem like that out here.
Q: Does your family know what you are doing right now?
Tyler Faith: No.
Q: Do you ever plan to tell them?
Tyler Faith: No. I come from an extremely Italian family, very strict. My Mother knows more than anybody else. She thinks I do like stripping videos on the beach and stuff like that. Everyone else thinks I am a model. And, you know what, there is that fucking chance that somebody gets a hold of a movie or sees something, and finds out. If that does happen, I will tell them, obviously. Of course, I won't tell the whole truth. I can't. I just can't. They would die.
Q: What won't you do on film?
Tyler Faith: Right now I won't do anal. I just want to work my way up into that. I won't do interracial. I guess not much else.
Q: What do you enjoy more. Boy/girl scenes or girl/girl scenes?
Tyler Faith: I like both. I like to do both because I don't get bored with one or the other. When I first started I did girls all the time, and then when I came back that's when I started doing just girls. But then I was like, I want to do other things I want to make it more exciting. I love doing both.
Q: What's your personal life like? Dating, not dating...
Tyler Faith: Right now I'm not dating. I'm just want to totally focus on my career. And not be selfish, but be selfish. Because being in a relationship you have to dedicate a lot to that person and I can't do that right now. I travel a lot. I'm not home. And it's not fair to someone not to give them a 100%. And I can't do that right now.
Q: Do you feel like the adult industry is protecting you as a performer from various health concerns, or do you think the industry can do more?
Tyler Faith: I personally - with this company - feel super comfortable. I feel very well protected. Maybe other companies aren't so worried about the girls, or worried about their talent, or worried about what goes on, but Jill Kelly productions is totally for the talent, for the girls, especially healthwise.
