Before we examine
Lacie's Life as a movie, it's important to point out that this DVD is one of the
first anamorphic transfers I have seen from the folks at Vivid Pictures. While it's not as crisp and clear as anamorphic transfers I've seen from some of the other major adult studios, it's nice to see that Vivid has finally gotten with the program and now viewers with widescreen TVs can enjoy Vivid Girls in all their 16x9 glory.
As for the movie itself, it's pretty special too. Lacie Heart is Vivid's newest Contract Girl, and she's a cutie...kind of a cross between Teagan Presley and Jenna Jameson. The good news is that she's very photogenic as well...one of the few newbies I've seen that seems to be having
fun while on camera...and that's always a good sign that she'll be around for a long time.
The movie is more gonzo than anything else, as a cameraman follows Lacie around for a day - giving
Lacie's Life a sort of "reality television" twist to it. Lacie participates in all of the movie's sex scenes, and there's a nice progression - from solo masturbation in Scene One to a full-blown five-person orgy at the conclusion.
Things start off with Lacie's solo scene, which takes place on her bed and includes masturbation with a gold vibe. This, she says, is how she starts each and every day. She then tells the cameraman she goes over to her neighbors to watch them have sex every morning, and we sneak along with Lacie and the cameraman to the house next door, where we peek in on Sativa Rose and Tommy Gunn having sex. Sativa and Tommy go at it for a while - covering the spoon, reverse cowgirl, cowgirl and missionary positions. But when Sativa mounts Tommy again cowgirl-style, she suddenly remembers she needs to get to work...leaving Tommy, quite literally, with his dick in his hand. Not to worry though, as Lacie comes in to finish Tommy off with a blowjob, and Tommy shoots his load into Lacie's mouth.
The movie then takes a turn towards "strange" territory as Lacie visits the home of Vivid director Paul Thomas, who has a naked James Deen walking around and acting weird in his place (to say nothing of those animal-print pajamas he's wearing!). The ironic thing here is that I'm not sure how much of this is acting on Thomas' part and how much is real (although certainly the James Deen part is for this movie), since Thomas is well-known to be "a different kind of cat".
Lacie's next scene is with Deen, and it's a so-so one...but that may be more due to Deen than Lacie herself (I would have much rather seen her get penetrated by Gunn for her first full-blown penetration). The next sex scene is much better, as Lacie goes off for a magazine layout and teams up with Kurt Lockwood, who pounds her reverse cowgirl, missionary, spoon and doggy before popping in her mouth.
Then comes the orgy, as Lacie teams with Jenna Presley, Joey (the female starlet), Jerry and Jean Val Jean. There's way too much going on here to list in this review, but all of the girls get penetrated in various positions, and there's a good deal of girl/girl play going on as well. The two pop-shots have Jean pulling out of Jenna in the reverse cowgirl position and shooting up onto her pussy; followed by Jerry pulling out of Joey in the missionary position and cumming on her pussy.
The final scene is a POV blowjob that Lacie gives to the unseen cameraman from the bathtub back in her house. The chapter selection on this DVD informs us that the "stunt cock" used here is actually that of Jerry's, just for the record.
Extras on the DVD includes some nice bonus scenes from other releases that include appearances by Sunrise Adams, Briana Banks, Devon and Kody. There's also a text bio for Lacie; a pair of slide shows; and four trailers for other Vivid releases.
Vivid's got a hot one on their hands here - Lacie Heart is the "real deal" and should quickly become one of adult's most popular girls, should she decide to make a career out of porn. Regardless, you'll want to add
Lacie's Life to your collection...it's a keeper.
