As the title suggest, PERVERSIONS UNLEASHED is everything you might expect from a gonzo video. The "extreme sex" is chock full of deep, gag-inducing cock sucking, as well as anal sex which is as close-up and as graphic as you can imagine. Oral cumshots with swallowing, cum-swapping, and other varieties of post-orgasmic semen exchange are delivered in full detail throughout five scenes, and the women perform with an expertise and proficiency which will leave you exhausted. Some of the female talent are luscious and hot like blonde and leggy Angel Long as well as covergirl Rebecca Linares, a stunningly sexy brunette, while others are debatably less attractive, yet still very shtuppable (if I may borrow a common Yiddish phrase). The uncredited director (or directors?) keeps the action going and the camera focused, with no major technical gaffes.
However, PERVERSIONS UNLEASHED is, ultimately, a bore. Perhaps it might entertain and eventually satisfy those desperate for some effective stroke material, but even the most novice of porn fans will not find much repeat value in the generic set-ups and the indistinguishable hardcore. The action is rote and perfunctory, and you'll find more chemistry in mixing ice with water than in any encounter here. Mind you, the video and audio quality is as good as one might expect from a reputable company like Red Light District, and the Behind The Scenes featurette, which wisely focuses on Rebecca Linares, is passable entertainment. It's also good to see this DVD dispose of the watermark which has obtrusively popped up in many otherwise fine RLD titles. However, when the overall content is this unremarkable, it's no wonder that no one has bothered to take responsibility for the direction or production of this soulless piece of product. From any other "me, too!" porno manufacturer attempting to break into the gonzo field, I might be more forgiving of this type of these results, but from Red Light District, it's more than a bit of a bust.
Ashley Long does her damnedest to raise the temperature of an otherwise lukewarm scene with Aaliyah Jolie, and John Strong and Sascha. Her opening lesbian tease is lifeless, simply because Miss Jolie seems so utterly disinterested. I would almost rather see Ashley perform without another female, so that we can concentrate on her without the distractions of a passive partner. When she's performing rim-jobs, or getting double penetrated, Miss Long seems to enjoy her work through and through, and it's her energy and enthusiasm which generate continued interest in this by-the-numbers affair. The cum-swapping is a bit weak, if only because the fade to black editing suggests that Aaliyah might not have kept too much of the stuff in her mouth for Ashley to enjoy. If you are not yet a fan of this statuesque blonde, then you'll appreciate how her presence saves a strictly average scene.
Rebecca Linares is yet another tasty piece of eye-candy in the following scene. Wearing a tight black top, black stocking and white panties, she allows us to get a good look at her terrific figure for a few minutes before she shares a threesome with Jean Claude Baptiste (a black guy) and John Strong (who has been in more gonzo videos than I can count). Unfortunately, her little tease is distracted by a wart-covered, wrinkled hand which intrudes on the close-up of her ass and paws at panties for a few seconds. Why some cameramen or directors can't seem to let the ladies do their thing without interruption is beyond me, but that's creative license for you. In any event, Miss Linares' otherwise average vignette is notable for the string of beads up her ass inserted at the beginning, before being removed for some backdoor entry by the guys, as well as the ass to mouth cum tasting which ends her scene. Rebecca's great looks go along way in elevating the quality of this video, but I'm afraid neither she (nor Miss Long) are enough to save it.
A newbie by the name of Lystra appears next, and though this waif of a woman states confidently that she's had her fair share of sex, her awkward and reserved performance with Jerry suggests otherwise. Quite frankly this skinny Asian-American chick seems to be out of her league when it comes to appearing in a movie called PERVERSIONS UNLEASHED. The red streaks in her hair might indicate a wild side, but the way she just lays there lifelessly while getting fucked, and her frozen reaction to the cum-facial, make this scene a chore to watch.
Melissa Martin, a cute girl of obviously mixed ethnicity has a shapely ass but an unsightly tattoo near her crotch. She gets it on with Donny Long, and though she's a breath of fresh air after Lystra, there is nothing to distinguish her scene from any other. The doggy and reverse cowgirl shots are so static and dull that it almost seems like they were presented in a loop. Additionally, her cum facial is weak with Melissa showing only slightly more excitement overall than her immediate predecessor.
Finally, we get Alicia Angel and Isabel Ice, both dressed in black and paired well together as brunette and dirty blonde combination. After putting their bodies on outdoor display for us, they retreat inside and mess around with a few sizable butt-plugs. John Strong gets between them and his dick and ass are given a tongue-wash by the two babes. Naturally, they fuck and suck endlessly with some graphic ass-to-mouth shots, concluding with a cumshot which is exchanged orally, then drooled into Isabel's butt, then squirted out into Alicia's mouth and swapped again where it is swallowed by Isabel. This concluding vignette is good, hard, nasty, and the sole reason why I might have recommended this disc. If the other four scenes matched up to this one, it would easily garner a five star rating. But when the bad overrides the good, you end up with a below average video like PERVERSIONS UNLEASHED.
