ASIAN FEVER #20 is pretty much what any reasonably informed pornnossieur might expect from a Hustler video with that kind of title: a straightforward, vignette-oriented piece of hardcore fluff which exploits the demand for exotic Far Eastern pussy. With only a minimum effort at setting up his scenes, Director Ray Anderson dispenses with story and narrative by cutting straight to the flesh and hardcore.
Six girls are featured in this flick, with simple, monosyllabic names like Ora, Pat, Gee and Ara, along with more unusual names such as Polla and Glorietta. Though I couldn't quite identify each girl's ethnic origin (and the video itself is no help in this regard), it appears to me that most of these girls seem to be either Filipino, or some Hawaiian-derivative. Unless you're extremely picky about just what kind of Asian we're watching have sex (Korean? Chinese? Japanese? Thai?), it's enough to note that each of these girls have dark hair, dark eyes, petite features and are willing to lie down like a horny streetwalker straight from Kubrick's FULL METAL JACKET. Strangely, there is not a single American actor to be found in this flick, which seems to be strictly European produced. The male talent includes Ricardo Bell, Roly Reeves, and Bob Terminator, none of whom are visually identified in the credits.
The movie opens up with a good, but not great scene featuring Pat, a pleasant looking young lady who takes a quick bath before getting it on with her predesignated sexual partner. The action is slowly paced, and Pat goes through the motions rather tepidly. At times, there's this blank, bored look on her face which occurs when she's getting deep kissed and even when she's getting fucked in a spooning and reverse cowgirl position. The only time she really smiles is when he unloads on her rack, and even then, there's this clearly hesitant expression when he puts his spent cock back in her mouth. Not very erotic at all.
Next is a rather lame scene involving Ora, who has long hair and some good dance moves (we first meet her touching herself in a mirror than rubbing herself down in a shower), but needs to improve when it comes to fucking for the camera. Her scene involves performing in a threesome, and despite her attempts to act all hot, bothered and into it, it's clear that this isn't her thing. The blowjob work is awkward and physically awkward, as the guys try patiently to guide her while she sucking them both off. Sure, they assume a lot of positions during their endless fuck and suck encounter, but heat is nonexistent. Ora seems more than a bit relieved to have the scene end with them spilling their seed on her tits.
Ara, a leggy and fairly busty cutie gets it on with her guy in a hotel room. The stilted, heavily accented dialogue is clumsy and laughable, but the action which follows makes it all somewhat tolerable. Though reserved, I enjoyed watching Ara at work, performing largely hands-free blowjobs and getting fucked doggy style. It's just too bad that she doesn't allow the money shot to hit her anywhere above her bustline.
The next scene features the same sort of goofy banter as we watch two couples walk the streets of some city. Eventually the women, Gee and Polla, take a shower together, but the lesbian contact is minimum. Instead, the have sex scene with their European boyfriends in a symmetrically choreographed session. (The girls suck their assigned guy at the same time, and get fucked in pretty much the same positions simultaneously). Because there is no contact between the females, and no double penetration or even anal going on, this scene was pretty much a bust to me. The cumshots to the chest are equally disappointing.
Glorietta's scene foregoes the touristy set-up and begins right as she's being "seduced" on a couch by some unidentified guy. As he's eating her out, the camera takes note of another guy sitting near by who gets invited to join the horny couple. They take turns screwing her up the quim and in the mouth in a variety of positions, and then the scene ends with them jacking off onto her chest. (Amusingly, one of the guys ends up missing her but hits the other guy on the stomach.) As a coda, we watch her shower for a couple of seconds before the final credits roll. Whoopee.
The Bonus Scene is not too shabby, and in fact, it's perhaps the best scene on this disc. Taking place in Hawaii, some European dude in badly overdubbed English picks up on a young beauty in the great outdoors, and eventually gets serviced by her. He has a hell of a time getting it up for her at first, as she earnestly tries to get an oral-induced rise out of him. They fuck anally on some rocks, and right before he splooges in her mouth we get a medium shot of her peeing for quite awhile as she sucks him off. Other extras include a Slide Show, Trailers and several promotional displays for Hustler. Video quality is excellent, though I questioned why all the scenes were letterboxed. Audio quality is generally good, but the incessant music (which is basically some generic Asian-sounding instrumental) and overdubbed voices can be annoying.
It's easy to get over this FEVER.
