Maybe it's that both my wife and my girlfriend are bisexual. I'm not really sure. But there's just something about two women together on film, especially when it's done right, that is really hard to beat. Granted I'm a fan of the now-defunct series
Lady Ass Lickers, so I like my action maybe a bit dirtier than the average all-girl fare, but I have to say that, with
Girls Kissing Girls, we have a film that is blissfully toy free, seemingly realistic, and a joy to watch.
Nakita Denise and Samantha Ryan handle the first scene, a slow-developing chat on the bed eventually turning fully Sapphic. Nakita really instigates things with her hesitant partner, some very sensuous kissing that leaves no illusions that these women are gay for pay. Their kissing goes for some time - something I suppose would automatically come with the film's title. It's almost fifteen minutes in before the clothes really come off with authority. The girls take turns going down on each other as well, and I have to give credit to the director: the scene might not be the most elaborate, but it's evenly lit with good positions and easy-to-see action. As if these ladies weren't enough to enjoy about the scene, we get to see them enjoy each other very clearly. The scene really climaxes at the half hour mark with a nice 69 sequence, though I think they were a bit too close to the head of the bed, as it's impossible to get the camera into position to capture just what Nakita's tongue is doing. The total is about 40 minutes of action that is never terribly hardcore but always very erotic to watch. Well done.
Zoe Buitton and Darryl Hannah are up second. I really like Zoe's look in this scene, but I'm a sucker for busty brunettes anyhow. This scene has a bit more heat than the last, as these ladies have just a bit better chemistry all the way around. Well worth watching is Darryl's tongue hard at work on Zoe's clit while she writhes on the bed in pleasure. It's a shorter scene though, and sadly lacking in the always hot 69. I was bummed about that, but the hottest section is a very nice bit of the ladies grinding on each other. Worth a look for sure.
Nina Hartley and cute little brunette Mina Meow star in the third scene. Nina is still Nina, and Mina is simply downright adorable. The older woman is down on her younger costar first, showing exactly how a professional does the job. My highlight for this scene was Mina riding Nina's face in just a tremendous bit of filmmaking. Mina proves to be a fast study, though, as she licks pussy like a champ. The changes in position in this scene are a bit awkward, like they are things they're supposed to do rather than want to do. That's really the only detraction to the scene, as they're both otherwise brilliant together here.
I was very excited for this disc specifically for Puma Swede. I find the older blonde absolutely alluring for some reason and she certainly does not fail to please here. Working with Michelle Lay, Puma puts on a typically great tongue show. I love how they set this scene up, though, having the two of them see each other for the first time in some time, kind of flirting with each other but not doing anything about it. We fade out to come back to them in different outfits on a different day. This kind of patience is sorely lacking in this industry, the ability to let a scene unfold. More gonzo features need to take notice of this patience. Puma comes out to her friend in this scene, and you can guess that won't simply be the end of it. The ladies put in the kind of effort worthy of a last scene on a disc, including an absolutely scorching 69 and a seemingly endless array of tongue work. Definitely worth it.
Girls Kissing Girls is a great film, though don't expect much as far as extras are concerned. And with just the four scenes, maybe it will seem a bit brief to some. But it's really quite easy to get lost in some of these dreamy sequences of lesbian love, and sometimes we need to slow down to really appreciate what we're watching. Here there is plenty to watch.
