Cumming of Age 3.5 out of 5.00 - Film: 3 Extras: 3 Video: 4 Audio: 4 - 1/19/2010
I first reviewed the I'M A BIG GIRL NOW series beginning with #3, when cover girl Mary Anne was caught between Brian Surewood and Joey Ray for an all-out anal and swallowing good time which remains burned into the depraved recesses of my memory. Unfortunately, Miss Mary Anne left me broken-hearted and blue-balled when she retired from the industry just a couple years later, although the series continued on.

Now, nearly three years later, I'M A BIG GIRL NOW #10 is up for review and I can't help but feel a little disappointed. While the action is good, hard and hearty (I can't imagine a single raincoater bitching about the quality of anal acrobatic performed here), it just doesn't impress me the way #3 did. Director Ray Bones has done some fine work on his own with the ALL ABOUT ME and OIL SPILL series, but his approach doesn't match-up to the work done by previous director Sal Genoa.

I can't fault the cast of IBGN #10 for my reaction to the this DVD. Alexa Cruz (paired with John Strong), Amy Brooke (with David Perry), Kiera King (with Mr. Pete, who gets to be on the fun end of some amazing deepthroating), Madison Parker (with Mick Blue) and Misty Rivers (with Mark Wood) all do anal and take facials, with the exception of Miss King who receives her shot of splooge on her ass and pussy after being piledriven for nearly five minutes.

Morevoer, all the girls are at least cute, and in the case of dark-haired Madison Parker, look pretty damn hot. But the scenes are mechanical and figuratively speaking, pretty dry. Little touches like prolonged teasing and kissing (Kiera and Mr. Pete share a couple of pecks, which look less sensuous than kissing your own grandmother) would have made all the carnal behavior seem less rushed and less formulaic. After all is said and done, and after you've blown your load once or twice, what you're left ejecting from your DVD player is just another semi-anonymous gonzo flick.

A Behind The Scenes featurette with brief interviews of the female talent runs nearly 17 minutes in length, and a Cumshot Recap (always appreciated) and a Photo Gallery round out the bonus features. Diabolic (and sister company Anabolic) used to be my favorite gonzo studios, with some standout series including NO SWALLOWING ALLOWED, THE GANGBANG GIRL, and UN-NATURAL SEX. Unfortunately, their recent releases haven't been nearly as accomplished as what was produced nearly five years ago. I'M A BIG GIRL NOW #10 is better than most of what's being produced today, but isn't above the average for a studio like Diabolic.
