There is something to be said for not seeing everything. A guilty pleasure when I'm on campus is some of the lovely women who go to my school wearing short skirts and pantyhose/tights on the first hints of a warm spring day. Just wonderful stuff, that, and they don't need to be flaunting every inch of their body to be sexy and arousing. Elegant Angel is trying to capture that concept with Just Tease, but the nature of the production makes that a difficult endeavour, one that I'm not sure comes across quite as well as it could.
This is coming from someone who loves Elegant Angel, keep in mind, and features the tease sequences from an Elegant Angel feature I'm desperate to get my hands on:
Curvy Girls 4, with the stunning Kagney Linn Karter and my perpetual favourite, Jayden Jaymes. These two stick out in my mind because they're my favourite to watch, too, but you can tell it's just a bit of capturing money based on previous work with
Just Tease.
Most Elegant Angel features have a tease in the opening, set to music and with much of the production value of a music video. They're very well done, though many of them really bank on the adult action that follows. I mean, we're not going to assume that we aren't going to see every inch of Kagney, and Jayden's body can only be matched by Jayden in action. Here, in order, we get Kagney taking half of her clothes off and Jayden not really getting to interact with the camera in the same way that makes her a star.
Kagney is just a gorgeous woman, is this is coming from a guy who isn't a huge fan of blondes in general. She has a beautifully curvy body, breasts that are almost comically wonderful and perfect, and a face that can go from sultry to innocent in - quite literally - the blink of an eye. And while we get a good look at everything north of the equator, anyone who wanted to check out that ass is limited to one sequence at the very end of the tease, where she's kind of sitting on the floor, doing this cheek shake thing that manages to be very hot. I like a good tease, but this one felt like it just stopped before it got going, mostly because in the film itself it would lead in to more. Here it just finishes flat.
The scene with Jayden Jaymes has many of the same problems, though we do get more of an extended look at Jaymes. She's outdoors, in a rather lovely backyard of a mansion, though she seems uncomfortable kind of randomly dancing on the patio. There's something with the setting that just doesn't quite click. Worse yet, she moves to a gazebo-like structure when it comes time for the little clothing she has on to disappear. As a result, we have these slat lines all over her body for the duration. This is coming from someone who likes to look at Jayden, too: it's a better tease to watch her in her interview in
Super Stacked All Stars than to just get this minor glimpse here. Looks plus personality plus some additional time make all the difference.
This should be a blockbuster of a film, but somehow it manages to come up short. The talent list is flat out amazing, as there isn't a single lady on that list I wouldn't want to watch (okay, Gianna's one, but you get my point). This, as a collection, just screams of trying to capitalize on previously shot film. A good job coming up with a new innovation, of course. Most compilations are simply rehashes of scenes based on a loose strand of coherence. This tries to do something different. But there would need to be fresh mixes of these teases in order for this film to work. Cut back on the number of scenes and instead give us more quality.
I'd like to recommend
Just Tease as excellent, and there are moments of brilliance. But there is much on this disc that is fleeting, and I can't help but think that most will walk away unsatisfied.
