Take the title of this movie seriously. It's not just a gimmick for a typical five-couplings porno, but a serious attempt to give the viewer real guidance on giving quality oral sex to a woman or a man.
A list of the chapter titles will give you a good idea of the topics discussed. "Sex Anatomy" describes the male and female genitals using giant fabric genitalia. When I first saw it, I thought I'd chanced onto a porno suitable for airing on the Spice Channel -- all promise and giggles. Nope. "Male Genital Massage" and "Female Genital Massage" are explicit, and so are "Blowjob Demonstration" and "Barrier Demonstration". "Double Blowjob" and "G-Spot" are self-explanatory, and "The Party" is recognition that educational value aside, people who buy pornos like to get some actual sex on their DVDs.
The usual structure of a review here includes a detailed description of the two or three hottest scenes, but that's not really appropriate here. Instead, I'll give you a good idea of what's covered in each of the chapters, so you can decide whether you'd like to add this to your collection -- either to increase your own knowledge, or to increase that of your partner!
The "Sex Anatomy" chapter starts out showing the various parts of the male genitals using a realistic latex dildo. The female genitals are then shown with a huge "vulva puppet". The video quality is just fine, and never interferes in any way. No artifacting, no bad lighting, no out-of-focus shots. Audio is crystal clear -- Nina's hints and tips are always understandable. Extras? Well, not much. There's a short bio on Nina Hartley, but nothing fans won't already know. Aside from that, there is also a chapter selection option.
Don't let seemingly average ratings here (features, audio and video) deter you if you would like to learn more about oral sex, or if you want an icebreaker to open discussions with your partner(s). The advice seemed to me dead on, and seasoned liberally with exhortations to remember that all the advice in the world pales compared to your partner's actual requests.
