DIRTY MINDS is an enjoyable feature film from director and performer Stormy Daniels, who has obviously done far more accomplished work in OPERATION TROPICAL STORMY and the PREDATOR series. It opens with an introductory sex scene featuring Eric Masterson and covergirl Kirsten Price and continues with a mish-mash of sex scenes starring some of Wicked's most popular contract girls. The title closely resembles that of a classic album made by my favorite musical artist, who often sang of graphic sex and religious salvation. Fortunately, DIRTY MINDS keeps the emphasis only on sex and the results are a porno video which satisfies, even though it fails to attain excellence.
There are scenes where guys loaf around, pass around a "joint" and talk about their sexual tastes (hairy pussies, multiple partners and so forth), and where women hang out talking about fashion and carnal situations. The dialogue isn't exactly Tarantino-esque, but it provides an adequate, if predictable, transition to some unconnected couplings. For example, a scene between Stormy (looking sexy as always) and Mick Blue having sex in the closet of a boutique is presented as a witnessed flashback by Krissy Lynn. After a round of standard positions, Mr. Blue shoots straight onto Stormy's tongue, and her swallowing alone is worth the price of admission. If there's a single reason to recommend DIRTY MINDS, it's because of Miss Daniels.
The rest of the scenes are consistent in erotic quality. A nice anal affair between Phoenix Marie and Tommy Gunn is immediately topped by Krissy Lynn's threesome with Mr. Pete and Rocco Reed. This gorgeous blonde impressed me greatly in a climactic foursome with Cindy Hope, Zerah Jones and Mick Blue in WHORE IT UP (from Digital Playground), and she looks equally hot here. Those legs and that mouth are simply too inviting to resist, and while two guys on one girl scenes aren't necessarily my preference, seeing her hard at work is never a dull moment. With her shorter hair and skimpier dresses, Miss Lynn looks better here than in almost any other video I've seen of hers.
The movie ends with a lesbian trio featuring Kirsten Price, Krissy and Zoe Britton. Needless to say, I was thrilled to see a sexual collaboration between the boxcover girl and my new favorite blonde, with Zoe's appearance merely adding to the eye-candy. However, their scene appears to be a bit rushed and predictable, and the absence of any prolonged kissing is a slight disappointment. Oh sure, they make out at the beginning, and there's no doubt that their skills in cunnilingus and using toys are at an expert level, but I was expecting more out of this climax. (Perhaps all my hours of watching Viv Thomas titles have spoiled me when it comes to sapphic lust.)
Visually, DIRTY MINDS is a wee bit brighter than most titles photographed by Francois Clousot, but that's not saying much. Kirsten's opening scene and the lesbian finale suffer from all the shadows and dark spots. The sound is excellent, with clearly produced dialogue scenes and music which doesn't overwhelm the soundtrack. The only outstanding extra on this disc is a bonus scene featuring Miss Price and Rocco Reed excerpted from THE STRANGER, but it's a fitting supplement to a movie which stands well on its own.
