I, for one, have been thrilled by the resurgence of parody films, and their longevity a couple of years in here has been a treasure. There is so much opportunity to connect more deeply with a varied fan base by having fun like this. But it does start to get a bit difficult to parody when all of the main titles have already been taken. So it is with some confusion that I pick up
Krossing the Bar, a film loosely based on a not-particularly-successful cable drama starring Zach Morris and the Mom from Malcolm. This is where we're going now?
Take that as no complaint about the film or the talent, as everything here is really very pleasant to watch, but the premise could have been dropped and this still would have been every bit as much an excellent movie. India Summer gets the first scene, and this beautiful raven-haired woman is still one of my favourite performers. There are a lot of close-ups in this scene, but it still manages to be alright. India is in the old-school porn uniform of black stockings (thank you!), and does she ever seem to be enjoying her work. A bit grainy of footage here, which struck me as a bit odd (the film claims to be shot in high definition, after all), though it's not impossible to watch. I would have liked the blowjob sequence to be a bit earlier on, as it comes after a significant number of penetration scenes, but it's still alright. Have I mentioned that I love India is wearing a wedding ring? I say it every time, but that's incredibly hot to me, as it makes the porn stars seem so much more authentic. It's a marathon blowjob session, and we leave that just in time to go anal. So this film is officially a keeper, and you don't really have to read anymore. Just click "add to cart" up there. And a big hello to the lovely Kayden Kross in the second scene, the official source of our title pun. She keeps the porn uniform going too, and each one of them shares some luscious oral work. Great positions as well, and the talent really seems to be enjoying themselves throughout. Kayden takes a messy body shot in the end of this one.
I'm always pleased to see Alexis Texas as well, and the bootylicious blonde never fails to perform. Have I mentioned that I love all the ladies are still in that black stocking uniform? Great work in this one as well, as the talent again is professional to the extreme. This isn't one of the anal films Alexis does, but that booty is still on full display for us. It's a rather nice facial shot in the end.
So because her name is in the title, Kayden Kross gets a second scene. Hooray! Better lighting in this scene, but with the same great chemistry as the other scenes. No uniform for this one, but Kayden is in some damn sexy pants to start, and goes to a cute thong for a lap dance from there, so all is forgiven. Great reverse cowgirl in this scene, and Kayden still manages to show off her amazing legs at every opportunity. Absolutely must-see oral work towards the end of this scene, some very impressive work that would have made most men lose it rather easily. In the end she takes a pretty thorough body shot and some to her hand as well.
It's never a bad thing when there is an entire second disc filled with just the bonus features. Just about all of the standards are here, filling up a good chunk of the disc. It's hard to claim you don't get your money's worth here!
Overall it's an excellent film, though odd that they felt the need to tie it to an existing premise. I think it might have been more effective without it, frankly, as I had no experience with the show they may or may not have been basing it on. Rest assured that the sex is the point of this whole exercise, and you surely won't be disappointed when you buy it.
