I have to admit that I was predisposed to enjoying JUST YOU AND ME, an all-girl title from Wicked, if only because the one and only Tori Black is in it. I'll refrain from going on and on about how much erotic value she adds to just about any production (if you're not familiar with her work, then go pick up a copy of TORI BLACK IS PRETTY FILTHY right now!), and just state that her appearance with Charley Laine is as hot as it is pleasing to the eyes. Tori has her hair pulled back and wears a black collar, tight shorts (I guess you can call them shorts) and boots, while Miss Laine is in an equally skin-tight black and white outfit which shows off her ample chest. They tease and then please each other with ample enthusiasm, with only slight pauses where they talk and smile slyly at the camera. Even though I'm no fan of toys, the way Tori crouches on a dildo held up by Charlie is enough to change my points of view.
Thankfully, Tori's scene is just an example and not an exception to the kind of quality found in JUST YOU AND ME. Years ago, director Brad Armstrong would create vignettes which had the kind of elegance and beauty epitomized by the works of Andrew Blake and Michael Ninn (indeed, this movie reminds me of Ninn's DIVA series for VCA from the late 1990's). It's good to see his style intact and updated for the widescreen, high definition market. Of course, it helps to have modern talents like Asa Akira and Monique Alexander (both of whom are dressed in black latex and leather for an arousing romp), as well as Jesse Capelli and Sophia Santi as part of your cast.
McKenzie Lee and Nikki Benz open up JUST YOU AND ME with straightforward, but passionate scene which, to me, was more beauty than chemistry, but sets the tone and atmosphere for the remainder of the movie. Elsewhere, it's just a wee bit of a shame to see sexy things like Mia Presley and Jayden Cole relegated to short masturbation scenes, but they provide a nice change of pace from all the sapphic sex. The threesomes which occur towards the end of the movie are worth the price of admission, and include Nikita Von James, Kina Kai and Jessica Jaymes spread out and then on top of each other across a couch (this is the kind of scene which makes you grateful for anamorphic images), and finally, Jesse, Sophia and Jazzy Berlin all barely dressed in red and getting all hot and bothered with non-stop action.
Even more surprising about JUST YOU AND ME is how bright and clean it looks on DVD, despite being photographed by longtime director and cinematographer Francois Clousot. Gone are the dreary shadows and dark settings. In particular the first three scenes featuring McKenzie Lee and Nikki Benz pairing, followed by Mia Presley's solo masturbation and Tori and Charlie's standout encounter are a pleasure to view. I have to assume that director Brad Armstrong insisted on this change of style, because rarely have I seen Mr. Clousot's moving pictures look so good.
DVD extras include an excerpt from TORMENTED featuring the a friendly moment between Asa Akira and Tommy Gunn presented as a Bonus Scene, along with an enjoyable 20 minute Behind The Scenes featurette giving viewers more time with their favorite pieces of eye-candy. While the hardcore action here may not enticing enough those who are accustomed to the works of a Belladonna or a Bridgette Kerkove, I found JUST YOU AND ME to be just what I needed for a good girl-on-girl (and on-girl again) affair. Strongly recommended.

Well this holds some promise... usually I'm not much of a fan of all-girl flicks only because the production values aren't great, they haven't done much to really doll up the girls, and it just winds up being a jump-to-the-toys fest. Blah. Not the case with Wicked's
Just You & Me directed by Brad Armstrong. Here Armstrong shows off the fruits of his many years behind the camera, producing a series of vignettes that can hold their own with any collection.
As is my wont, I must complain a bit that the chapter menu doesn't bother to identify who is in each scene. This is unfortunate, as that simple little touch would go so far in keeping everything organized. Nikki Benz is up first, and she really seems to have aged quickly in the last couple of years. I don't mean that as an insult, just as an observation. She stars with McKenzie Lee, the two top-heavy honeys posing and feeling for the camera all throughout the opening credits. There's a lot of focus on their breasts, which isn't much of a surprise all things considered... there's certainly a lot there. The interaction with the camera is an interesting - and nice - touch. McKenzie does quite a bit of work with her hands before sinking her tongue into Nikki's snatch. Nikki more than returns the favour, going so far as to do some brief rimming - my favourite! Then the toys come out. Blah. One for each of them, and they're doing the typical pretend-it's-your-dick thing with them. This does bore me a bit, as I'd rather they just finger themselves than use the toys, though McKenzie's accent is rather nice during this part. It stays toy for quite a long time until they finally fade out. Meh.
The second scene has me absolutely frozen, however. I clearly haven't watched enough of Mia Presley. She has the eyes and body to stop a man dead in his tracks. Hers is a solo scene, and a nice one at that. Slow, sensual, devastatingly hot. She's not one to perform with men, so no use looking for the facial shot that would look oh so good on her. I love that she works herself with just fingers for so long. Just delicious. Part of me does wish she would ditch the chainmail-on-steroids she has going, but I'll live. A pixie little voice, too, and great at dirty talking. It's all so brilliantly captured, too, that makes it all that much worth it. Eventually, alas, the toy does come out, but the seeming veracity of her reactions makes it work. I'll take it, and this scene along makes it all worth it to me.
Charlie Laine and Tori Black have a rather tasty scene together, even if they are a bit overdone in appearance. If you haven't seen the occasional picture of Tori without makeup on, check it out. She's just a naturally gorgeous woman, and I really hope she starts working some scenes that way. It's such a patient scene, but also one where they really seem to enjoy working together and being on camera. Their interaction is just fantastic, a believable porn scene if there ever was one. Great mouth work by Tori is repaid by Charlie fingering Tori while vigorously rimming her. Lovely, that, but you know my preferences by now. The toys again come out, sadly, but they're well handled. Still, the part of the film where they weren't using them was indeed far better.
With four more scenes - including a spectacular solo by Jayden Cole - you are more than getting your money's worth with
Just You & Me. It's rare that I find a film that compares with the old days of the
Diva series, but this really is it. Full points to Brad Armstrong for the production work here (even if I do complain about some of his dramatic features as being a bit too old-fashioned), and a big thanks to all of the talent for interacting not just with each other so well, but also with the camera. That can't be the easiest thing in the world to do, and the fact that they're able to establish that intimacy with us makes
Just You & Me a winner.
