Back in the day when the greatest picture quality one could witness was on DVD, Digital Playground released a couple of titles called ALL STAR. As the name suggest, the video featured some of the finest babes and hottest talents around. (ALL STAR came out in 1999 and spotlighted classic performers like Rebecca Lord, and ten years, ALL STAR 2 was released with up and coming beauties like Colette and Black Angelika). This video, called ALL STAR MILFS, focuses on what is one of the most popular sub-genres in adult, namely Mothers I'd Like To Fuck. For those who have grown bored of barely legal lasses who may perform athletically, but lack the passion and seduction of more mature women, MILF titles have become the preferred choice (although in porn, anyone over 24 may be considered to be "old").
Most MILF videos these days usually spotlight a superior, formerly retired performer from yesteryear, such as Julia Ann, Raylene, Ginger Lynn, Lisa Ann, Roxanne Hall, Shayla LaVeaux, and Nina Hartley. However, I didn't recognize a single actress on the cover and during the opening credits of ALL STAR MILFS, mainly because the male and female talent hail from Central Europe (Lea Lexus and Mugur are Romanian, while the rest are from Hungary). In fact, this movie seems to have been entirely foreign made, as the interior settings have unmistakably European designs, and all the dialogue is spoken in broken English, even during the Behind The Scenes featurette. Now, I've been a fan of imports for years. Titles from Private and Marc Dorcel have overall exceptional video quality, and the women are usually fresh-faced, beautiful and completely uninhibited. At the same time, there can a repetitive sterility to the action due to all the proficiency, making the hardcore seem more dazzling than truly erotic.
Directed by Jules Bart, ALL STAR MILFS shares all the good and not-so-good qualities of any European production. A MILF movie usually dramatizes a cliched situation where an older woman is matched with a younger man (such as a teacher hitting on her student, or a divorced mom seducing her daughter's boyfriend). The five sex scenes here are presented as straightforward pairings, with little effort into emphasizing the cougar-themed situations. Without a doubt, the hardcore is executed superbly, but none of the affairs are exceptionally memorable. Further, while video quality is crystal clear, the Blu-ray picture doesn't match up to the demonstration quality of other titles from Digital Playground, such as LOVE FOOL or FLY GIRLS.
Blonde Lea Lexis (the spelling of her name varies) shows up at the door of Nick Lang to model and sell lingerie and the two have a hot and heavy anal affair. However, the approach and final results are perfunctory. There isn't any attempt to create tension between the two characters, so when they go at each other, it feels rather anonymous. The following scene is a bit more effective: Maria Belucci and Linda Shane are seen marching in by a lake in high heels and short skirts, and take home James Brossman for a threesome. This vignette meets up to the demand of every male fantasy, including dual blowjobs, a round robin of fucking, and a shared oral cumshot. Unsurprisingly, it is my favorite moment of ALL STAR MILFS.
The very petite, extremely slender, but well-siliconed Christina Bella is up next. She entertains us by masturbating on a table in red lingerie, and then turns her attention to Frank Gun, who gets his dick and balls lusciously sucked by the sexy brunette. Their sexual positioning is top-notch,a and we get fine shots of her being fucked reverse-cowgirl and missionary style, before ending in a cum facial. Blonde Winnie (one of two performers who actually looks MILF-y enough to justify the title) engages in a solo act with a ribbed dildo as she's about to burst out of her pink lingerie. Mugur eventually walks in and gets access into her backdoor which was technically well-executed, but not that memorable.
Finally Sarah Simone is up next for a threesome with Nick Lang and Frank Gun. It starts in an office area, where Sara is all hot and bothered from working on her computer (it's my understanding that adult material can be easily found on the internet), to the point where she feels compelled to blow Mr. Lang. They retreat to a living room so Mr. Gun can join in and all three party like it's 2099. The vigorous cocksucking, hard anal, DP action and dual facials are all fun to watch, but like Winnie's scene, I was only minimally involved.
If this sounds like the whining of a spoiled, jaded reviewer than I will admit that such may be the case. However, I happened to review this movie within weeks of watching other domestically made Digital Playground productions like IS HE THERE? and STOYA: WORKAHOLIC, and there's no doubt in my mind that as good as this "import" is, what's made in America is still better.
