Prettier than most Vivid girls, mainstream-competent dramatic actress Selena Steele has an attractive voice, a riveting personality and breathes fire into her every scene. Always a fan fave, her later work was in crappy vehicles unworthy her beauty or talent. Besides all that, she's a great person.

As others before me have said, Selena is one of the most underrated starlets of erotic entertainment. She has a drop-dead gorgeous body and a dazzling smile and, unlike many sex starlets, she can act and shows a good sense of humor in her performances. If you are new to this raven-haired beauty, I would recommend that you purchase The Last Resort, The Chameleon, the first two Sorority Sex Kittens DVDs, Curse of the Catwoman, Sirens, The Tease...essentially, you can't go wrong with Selena! If anyone from VCA reads these reviews, please consider releasing other Selena classics such as Deep Inside Centerfold Girls and Deep Inside Selena Steele on DVD. The lack of these titles on DVD is a near-tragedy. What would I do if I ever met Selena? Probably stand there like an idiot, at a loss for words in the presence of her beauty and charisma!

The one thing I'd love to see Selena do on film is take on a large group of black guys and take it up the ass. Lexington Steele would be a perfect guy to nail her. Although just a little over 5' tall, this little firecracker had a rocking body which looked great getting hammered in classics like CURSE OF THE CATWOMAN and THE TEASE, and nobody gave a sexier blowjob than Selena in videos like HATE TO SEE YOU GO and ANYTHING THAT MOVES. Although I agree that she was a porn-man's version of Finola Hughes, she could also pass for the sluttier sister of "Diamond" of Diamond and Pearls, from Prince's album of the same name. But however one may identify with her, I believe that she was a truly underrated talent who has to be seen to be believed.

They don't make 'em like Selena anymore. One of the hottest pornstars of the late 80's and early 90's, she never quite got the superstar attention she deserved, but her fans know what an incredible talent she was. So what ever happend to her? My guess is she changed her name to Finola Hughes and started doing soap operas, but even if she isn't related to the mainstream star that looks like her twin sister, Selena will always hold a special place when I think about the great all-time stars in the industry.
