I usually have a fair amount of trepidation about films that focus on a particular fetish, especially related to female clothing. A film centered on a panty fetish, for example, tends to have to have the panties in every single shot, even involved as a wrap for a hand-job or something. And heaven forbid the cumshot be anywhere else other than on the panties themselves. This was my fear going into High Heels and Panties Volume 2 from Digital Sin. I should have known better, though, as Digital Sin generally isn't prone to that kind of oversaturation. And sure enough, this is a pretty dang high quality film with some women whom I'm simply going to have to see more of.
Let's start with covergirl Madelyn Monroe, who has the pale skin with brunette hair thing going that I am completely weak for. Maybe just a bit more wiry than I generally like, but she puts in a thoroughly enjoyable performance with lots of eye contact for the camera. There is the ubiquitous staircase tease sequence, which has long since expired in being interesting... there's only so much you can do on a staircase, and it rather reinforces the terrible habit of showing off the lovely lady from far too low of a camera angle. Good interaction in the scene, as they look comfortable together, though this is where the theme of the disc gets to me just a bit: I rather hate the scenes where they slide the panties off to the side but leave them there. It's not the worst thing that could happen to them, but it's more distracting than alluring to me.
Alysa is rather lovely as well, though puts in a remarkably similar performance to Madelyn. Her hair is just a bit lighter, the tan lines are kind of distracting, and the makeup is a bit too heavy, but the performance here again shows good chemistry. Alysa is a bit more submissive, and that doesn't help with the type of scene on offer here, where the performance is all centered on the female talent. All in white, instead of the black and fuchsia of Madelyn, Alysa goes through just about the same motions. Heck, even the lighting is identical. And yes, her panties are slid off to the same side, too. Though when it's a well-made scene, it's hard to complain when they stick with a winner and repeat it.
Erica Fontes brings some blonde to this disc, which will make fans of the fair-haired happy. She wasn't my type, whether it's the lack of stockings, the white panties, or the rather horrid hair, I'm not sure. A combination of those, though, is enough to make this one not quite my thing.
Which makes having Angell Summers on this disc such a joy. I can't say I've seen her work before, but now I want to go look her up and order all of her films. Skirting that line between cute and sultry, Angell is a tasty specimen with dark hair, a fun little body (curved just right), the type of lady I'd be in line for the chance to get a go with. The panties actually come off of her, which makes for a bit of awkwardness here: she feels the need to play with them and keep them in the shot. Not really necessary, that, as the tease sequence does enough for the fans, I would think. It gets just a bit in the way of enjoying the lovely that way. A great finisher on this one, too, though I can't think of any moments I didn't thoroughly enjoy.
A nice bonus with this disc, at least for some of the run, was that it came with a bonus film. It's just a few years old, too (the one I got, at least), and surely made this, with the quality of the feature, worth the ticket price. Also, a nod to whoever is trying to be hip at Digital Sin by putting a QR code on the back. Though I do wonder how frequently those are getting scanned.
High Heels and Panties Volume 2 should not be avoided by anyone who is put off by the possibility of a fetish flick. While these things are featured, this is a well-made all-sex flick that just about anyone will enjoy. Go buy it.
