Although
The Wicked One isn't a bad movie, it's not going to be remembered as one of Jenna Jameson's best films, either. Part of the problem may be that none of the performers seem really into the fun, and part of it may be that the character that Jenna plays in this movie has such a poor personality. Granted, once you understand her character, you'll realize why she is acting the way she is, but since we don't find this out until the end of the film, much of the movie is spent despising her.
Another problem with the movie is that it opens with a horrible number sung by Ms. Jameson herself. Actually, it's less singing than it is reading the words, but nevertheless, the phrase "don't quit your day job" has never been more appropriate. Once our ears recover, we find ourselves on the set of radio station WKED (or "Wicked"), where Tony Tedeschi plays a D.J. and he is introducing the next program, one of those love advice call-in shows, hosted by Tiffany Million. Tiffany gets a call on the air from a very upset Jenna, who it seems has had some sort of encounter with Tiffany in the past, but one that won't be revealed until the very end of the movie. What we do find out is that Jenna is out to ruin Tiffany in the worst way, and she won't stop until she has achieved that goal.
The first sex scene in the movie is perhaps the least appealing, as the scene primarily involves Jenna fantasizing (or perhaps remembering) an encounter between her and Jon Dough. But she also seems to periodically think about Tiffany with Jon, as the scene intercuts between Jenna with Jon and Tiffany with Jon. Since the sequence is dimly lit (the actors are in a room at night with candles on the floor), it is often hard to tell which parts have Jenna in them and which parts have Tiffany in them, and I in fact had to watch the scene a second time just to confirm the fact that there was some magical "body switching" between Jenna and Tiffany in this scene.
At this point in the film, I thought I was in for a limp few hours of porn watching. However, things pick up nicely in the second scene, in which Tony gets a juicy blowjob from a young looking (well, as young as she looked in 1995) Jill Kelly. She sucks Tony long enough to make the viewer think that this might be a blowjob-only scene, but soon Tony has her up on his audio board at the station and is fucking her doggy style. When scenes get really hot like this one, I always hope for a facial climax. Unfortunately, I had to settle for a cumshot onto Jill's chest, but the scene is still one of the best in the movie.
Jenna sneaks into the radio station while no one is there and finds a silver vibe which she uses in a solo masturbation scene. While I have never been a big fan of solo sequences, this scene is actually hotter than Jenna's previous one with Jon, mainly because when Jenna masturbates, she doesn't just tease herself with the toy (as I have noticed a lot of porn girls do), she actually pounds it deep inside her and is obviously enjoying the fun.
After a lesbian scene with Jenna and redhead Patricia Kennedy and a three-way with Jenna, Channone and Tom Byron (who doesn't get the chance to penetrate Jenna), comes Ms. Jameson's hottest moment in the movie: a three-way with Peter North and Mark Davis, who is playing Tiffany's husband. The climax of this hot threesome might be alone worth the price of the movie, as Mark gets to deposit his load onto Jenna's mouth, and Peter launches a huge load onto her body.
The movie wraps up with Jenna and Tiffany finally confronting each other...and no, you don't get any bonus points for guessing what happens during their encounter! Needless to say, Tiffany is more than a little reluctant at first, until Jenna shows her the pleasures that only two women can provide each other!
I have mixed feelings about
The Wicked One, as the movie has some hot sequences and some not-so-hot ones. While I like Jenna, she is not among my favorite actresses in adult, so perhaps that had something to do with my reaction to the film. I'm sure those who are big fans of Jenna will find more than enough to like in this movie, although you would have to be a huge fan to enjoy that opening number!
The audio and video are top-notch, as has come to be expected with any Wicked DVD release. The extras are a little below Wicked's standards, probably because this film is a few years old and there was probably not a lot in the way of supplemental material produced at the time. There is a director's commentary, some photos, and the audio biographies that have now become standard with Wicked releases.
