This "virtual" experience was a bit on the disappointing side, especially based on some of the other reviews that I've read. There is simply not enough content here to justify the price. Jenna is hot - no doubt about that - but you will bore of this DVD in no time at all.

There are two types of scenes, foreplay and sex. Foreplay is where you can do stuff to Jenna and get her off (finger her, use a dildo or eat her). Sex is where you actually have intercourse with her in a variety of positions. There is also an oral selection where Jenna gives you a virtual blowjob. All the while throughout the scenes, Jenna talks dirty to you in your choice of "innocent" or "nasty" ways.

Conspicuously missing is an anal scene in this production. It's hard to find an adult production these days that don't have at least one anal scene. Would have been a welcome addition here, especially since this CD comes up short on content. Guess we'll have to wait until Virtual Sex with Nikki Tyler for that.

The video sequences loop so if you find one you like you can just let it go. However, the sequences are too short (maybe a minute each). Each sequence also gives you the option of two camera angles, although the second option is usually just a view of Jenna's pretty face - not bad, but more options for alternative views would be nice.

Lastly, Digital Playground touts that the content is "shot for DVD". If this means that it is shot with an average quality camcorder with poor lighting, then yes, I would say that I agree with them! In short, great concept, needs some work in the execution. Nonetheless, Jenna IS hot! I'm hoping to get more out of the Nikki Tyler version, though.

Digital Playground has a best-in-class winner with this title. Anyone with a DVD player and a libido (well, any man, mostly) should run to buy this DVD right now. Do not delay!

"Virtual Sex with Jenna" apparently makes clever use of the closed captioning text layer to add mostly monochromatic white pixel words and icons which are controls to be selected via your DVD player's remote. This feature allows you to control the action and attitude of an amazing woman in an amazing performance of being your very eager, very, very hot dream date at the "getting lucky" stage of the evening. Once you have found a moment that you truly enjoy, you can remove the controls via your remote's "menu" button.

The new transfer mastered for DVD is spectacular, even if only originating in video. The picture is extremely clean and features exquisite detail. Cheap production, this is NOT. The Hi 8mm look, common these days in too many video produced titles, is not in evidence here. This is just one step back from film. The lighting is designed for providing detail, not romance - it's sex with the lights on - and with Jenna Jameson, that's the ONLY way to do it.

As to the virtual sex, it is quite fun to control, and the "reel change" time is smooth to the point that it would be hard to imagine anyone ever doing this better.

Second, the scenes are only about 1 min long before they are looped (which is not a bad thing but you'd expect more for a DVD). Third, there are only 4 positions (but they are however best positions). Fourth, 2 of the multi-angle view are not very good.

I hope the next Virtual Sex with Nikki Tyler will correct some of these problem since it is in production now and "made" for DVD.

But these problems should not stop you from buying it this great Disc!!

Summary: Short, but fun. Not DD 5.1, but stereo. A unique must buy.

When DVD was first introduced on of its selling points was the idea of being interactive, but the first attempts where less than great. So for some time now the interactive DVD has been played down until now. Virtual Sex with Jenna is what I consider the first successful attempt at an interactive DVD. But at the same time it brings up questions at how successful can a interactive DVD really be.

The way the DVD works is this, you are given a series of choices. The first is what position you would like to be in. The angle you would like to view the position and if you would like her to talk dirty or sweet to you. At anytime you can change the position or angle. You can also change not only position, but also the kind of sex that is happening. You can choose between oral sex (either giving or receiving), fingering her, or using a vibrator on her.

I found the controls easy to use. Switching from one scene to another was easy and almost instutanuace. I do have to warn that each segment is only so long and it repeats itself when it gets to the end.
