Calli Cox

Calli's path into adult movie stardom started on a different path than most adult stars. She spent most of her life in a small town of around 7,000 people in Southeastern Illinois where you can't even rent an adult movie or buy an adult magazine. Calli excelled at school and sports growing up, participating in cross-country and track during high school and lettering all four years in both sports. Calli was a member of the high school dance squad, being Captain her senior year. Academically, she was Salutatorian of her high school class and received a full academic scholarship to Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois. Calli, while attending Eastern, pursued a degree in elementary education, which she completed in May of 1999. She was also a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority. During her last year at school she entered an amateur stripping contest on a dare from her friends at The Diamond Cabaret in East St. Louis, Ill. Calli received first runner up that night, but loved the attention of the crowd enough to do it again the following month. She then did a few amateur nights over the next year at other Central Illinois clubs, winning most. While doing amateur nights, Calli discovered her attraction for women, having her first girl/girl experience on stage in front of at least 500 people. Shy she is not. During the summer after graduating college, Calli met a girl who was a bartender at a strip club in Champaign, Illinois called the Silver Bullet. Since she didn't start her teaching job for 3 months, Calli decided to work at the club a few days a week during her summer off. Calli was soon a customer favorite and really enjoyed working at the club. She continued stripping at night while teaching 8th grade English during the day. Calli finished out her year teaching and decided not to return the following year so she could dance fulltime. While working at the Silver Bullet, Calli's boyfriend sent a couple of pictures of her to Playboy TV to see if they would use her as a fax girl on Nightcall's live. Playboy said they would love to have her on the show, and she flew to Los Angeles that June to appear on the show as their first Amateur Fax Girl. While in LA that week, Calli met Roy Garcia, a talent manager in the adult industry who owns and operates Sex Symbols Talent Management. Roy told Calli that she could get plenty of work in the adult industry if she was willing to give it a try, but that she would need to move to Los Angeles to pursue the career. Calli returned to Illinois and continued dancing while pondering making the huge move to Los Angeles. Nine months later, Calli moved to Los Angeles and stayed at Garcia's where she roomed with two other soon to be stars, Belladonna, who she lives with now, and Monica Mayhem. Calli's first scene was an oral consumption video with Belladonna and Mr. Marcus. Working in the Adult Industry has really turned out well for Calli. She has appeared in over 70 movies since coming to California. Some of her favorites that she has appeared in are North Pole #23 (her first box cover), Service Animals#3(AVN Nom Best Group Scene), Young and Tight #2(AVN Nom. Best Group Scene), Naughty College School Girls #13, and Shane's World #29. She has also appeared in Penthouse, Club and numerous other adult magazines. Calli was named Adult Star Magazine's Best New Starlet, nominated by AVN for Best New Starlet, and was third in voting for CAVR in their balloting. She is well liked and respected by her peers, and is considered one of the nicest and most considerate people working in film today. Some of the people Calli really likes working with are Lexington Steele, Cheyne Collins, Mark Davis, and Bobby Vitale. On the girl side, her favorites are Belladonna, Haven, Monica Mayhem, and April. Calli lives in Los Angeles in the San Fernando Valley with her roommate porn star Belladonna (Buttwoman is Bella). The starlet looks forward to a long career in the adult industry in front of and behind the camera, and also plans to start feature dancing in the summer of 2002.
