Although I will admit that I do get a feeling of repetitiveness when watching most of Red Light's new releases these days (most likely due to the fact that I have seen the majority of them), there's little doubt that the quality of their titles has been kept at a high level - so I guess when something works, you don't try to fix it.
And it was with both a sense of comfortable familiarity and the hope for something new that I sat down to watch
Just Over Eighteen #5, the latest volume in Red Light series that delivers teenagers of legal age doing the nasty in front of Vince Voyeur's watchful eye (and camera lens!).
For my viewing tastes, things did not get off to a good start, since the first girl up was Diana, the foreign brunette you see on the cover who has graced a number of Red Light covers but has always had this "aren't I the cutest thing" attitude about her that, for me at least, has been a real turn-off. She's paired here with Tony Tedeschi and Brian Pumper...which sounds promising, but the scene doesn't even contain any anal - let alone any DP action - which was a real letdown. Diana also spits out most of the oral facials that she gets from the guys. This is not a good way to start a Red Light DVD!
Thank goodness scene two brings us redheaded Allison Wyte. Not only does she get my vote for the cutest girl on this DVD, but she is also the nastiest, taking on Mr. Pete and Tony Tedeschi and doing all the things you wish Diana would have done in the first scene, but didn't. Allison gets both anal and DP in her scene, plus doesn't shy away from the facials she gets at the conclusion of the action. Now here's the girl who should have gotten the box cover!
Lacey Barnes is a cute blonde with stunning blue eyes (that look just a tad crossed, but not enough to distract from her beauty) who is one of two girls on this disc who claims never to have finished high school (perhaps that's because she looks young enough to still be in attendance?!). Lacey's scene is with Lee Stone, and while it's enjoyable to watch, I did get the feeling that Lacey really didn't want to be there. She avoids eye contact with Lee during much of the scene, and turns her head to the side so his cumshot lands mostly on her cheek instead of her lips.
With one bad scene, one great scene and one so-so scene,
Just Over Eighteen #5 picks things up again with a good scene featuring Melody - an 18-year-old brunette in a plaid skirt and white top who tells us that she is a recent graduate of Catholic school...then goes on to show that Catholic girls really do have more fun by teaming up with Pat Myne and Brett Rockman. Melody doesn't take any anal in her scene, but she does allow Pat to finger her behind while he has her in the cowgirl position, so I guess that's a promising start. And while Melody doesn't swallow any of the cumshots at the end of her segment (at least she doesn't seem to swallow any), she doesn't do any "cum dodging" either.
The absolute worse scene in
Just Over Eighteen #5 is the next to last one, featuring Baby Doll, yet another high school dropout...although unlike Lacey before her, Baby Doll seems to have "dropout" written all over her. She's not very attractive, and she's not the most intellectual girl you'll see in porn either - and I actually felt sorry for Brian Pumper, who must have lost the office pool and been selected to do a scene with this young girl. She does take anal from Brian, and the scene-concluding cumshot is a pretty nice facial, but it's hard to get hard when watching a girl like Baby Doll in action.
Once again, the title manages to redeem itself with a great closing segment with long-haired blonde Cassie Young, who claims to be 18, but actually looks much older (late 20's, perhaps?). Whatever her age is, she's an impressive performer and saves
Just Over Eighteen #5 from being just an average entry in this series to one that can be recommended. Mr. Pete and Brett Rockman join her to give her a vigorous workout, and she winds up taking both guys' loads inside her mouth...although she does let most of it drip out rather than gulping it down.
There are also a couple of great POV scenes on the "Boner Footage" portion of this DVD. The first of the two scenes is a blowjob featuring Allison Wyte, followed by a blowjob with Melody. Since these girls were easily the best two on the DVD, it was really nice to get an additional scene with each of them!
In addition to the bonus scenes, the disc has 24 trailers for other Red Light discs, a photo gallery, chapter selection and website access to both the Red Light site and Vince Voyeur's own site. The video is top-notch and the audio is also above average.
Had performers like Diana and Baby Doll been replaced with better talent,
Just Over Eighteen #5 could have been one of Red Light's best DVDs yet. Even with their inclusion, it still ranks as an above-average entry - most notably because of the presence of Allison and Melody.
