There's a lot to be said about Jenna Jameson's latest title,
Jenna Loves Kobe, but the first thing that should be said about it is that it does deliver what's promised - two lesbian scenes where Jenna and Kobe go at it, which bookend the other three scenes on this DVD. The disappointment comes with the other three segments, which are kind of bland in comparison. And I suppose there will also be more than a few viewers who are upset that Jenna doesn't take any cock in this title - but then again, the DVD is called
Jenna Loves Kobe, not "Jenna Loves Guys".
Although director credit goes to Justin Sterling on the box cover, this title is actually directed (and produced) by Jim Enright, although he makes the same mistakes we have seen Mr. Sterling make in both
Briana Loves Jenna and
I Dream of Jenna - instead of just letting the two performers go at it and show that to the viewer, the footage has been edited so that slow-motion, lighting and color have all been experimented with to give the scenes a music video-like feel to them. Sadly, this detracts from the scenes rather than adding to them - but fortunately the director doesn't go so crazy with the special effects that the overall appeal of the DVD is forfeited.
Scene One features Jenna and Kobe, and begins with Jenna going down on Kobe's pussy, and doing a little finger foreplay as well. Jenna then positions her own love hole over Kobe's face, and Kobe rams her tongue up inside the queen of porn's snatch. Then, Jenna slides into a strap on (with a pink jelly dildo attached) and after Kobe sucks on it a bit, Jenna starts pumping her doggy style and then finishes up in the missionary position. This first coupling between Jenna and Kobe is easily the best scene on the DVD (their second scene on this disc is more visually interesting, but not as fun to watch), and I think a big reason why I enjoyed this segment was the fact that for a majority of it, Jenna is quite dominant. I've seen a lot of scenes with Jenna in them, and she always seems to be at her best when she's taking control during a scene, rather than being submissive to her partner. This won't go down as her best lesbian scene ever, but it's an enjoyable one to watch.
While the rest of the title is by no means a disaster, it is quite "vanilla" in content, and doesn't really spark much interest or arousal. Scene Two is a pairing between Tommi Rose (who is wearing a pink wig and stockings) and Randy Spears; Scene Three matches Zana (wearing black stockings and heels) and Steven St. Croix; while Scene Four teams April and Lee Stone. Of these three scenes, the coupling between Steven and Zana is probably the most fun to watch, and is the only one that features a facial cumshot at the conclusion.
Jenna and Kobe return for the final scene on this DVD, which has them in a round tub with bubbles floating everywhere. This one's a lot more passionate and a lot less wild than the first scene on this DVD, although those who enjoy watching girls kiss and grind their bodies up against one another may actually enjoy this scene a bit more. Unlike the first scene, there are no toys here, as Jenna and Kobe just lick, kiss and rub each other's bodies together while in the tub.
Assuming you don't already own a lot of Vivid titles featuring Jenna and Kobe, there are some nice bonus scenes on this DVD from other Vivid titles. You'll get to see Jenna, Felecia and Bobby Vitale in a scene from
Photoplay; Jenna and Janine from
Where The Boys Aren't 7; Jenna and Dasha from
Where The Boys Aren't 14; Kobe and Julian from
Haunted; and Kobe and Heather Hunter from
Hawaiian Blast. There is also a solo Jenna scene, a solo Kobe scene, biographies of both girls, slide shows for both girls, and a somewhat disappointing 8-minute behind the scenes segment that is just footage from the shoot with music placed over top of it...without any interviews or comments from the cast or narration.
This is a DVD designed specifically for Jenna and Kobe fans who want to see the two girls get it on (they've never done a scene together prior to this release). It probably won't go down as one of Jenna's best releases, but it does deliver what it promises.
