Regardless of who's behind the camera, when it comes to capturing gonzo material for adult movies - the success of the title lives or dies with the attractiveness, sexiness and downright nastiness of the girls involved. A bad director can ruin a movie with hot girls, but even a great director can't save a movie with below-average talent.
Which brings us to
POV Pervert 2, helmed by a very good gonzo director (Mike John), but featuring only average talent. The result? An above-average, but not great release from Red Light District. As with so many other titles in the genre, the appeal of this one is going to sink or swim on the individual viewer's personal attraction to the female performers.
First up is cute brunette Jennifer Luv, who is 19-years-old and puts on a skimpy outfit for director Mike John. Of course, the whole point of putting on the outfit seems pointless, since Mike's just about to rip it off again - but at least we get a nice look at Jennifer's body before the action begins. Of course, the theme of this release is POV (Point of View), so we never see anything more but the guy's cock on camera - giving home viewers a slightly "interactive" experience...so they can feel as if they are the ones giving it to the girl in front of the camera. Another nice thing about this title is that all of the girls swallow the loads that they get, which makes this DVD appealing for fans who love to see that kind of action. There's no anal for Jennifer, but she does get it from Mike in the cowgirl and doggy positions, as well as getting titty-fucked prior to the cumshot.
Shelby Belle is up next, and it isn't Mike John who directs this scene, but Erik Everhard...who also gets the final scene on this DVD. Shelby's also the covergirl for this title, although I found her segment to be one of the lesser ones on the disc. Shelby does get anal here - in the doggy, cowgirl and missionary positions...and there's a bit of ATM action (Ass to Mouth) as well.
Personally speaking, Alecia Rhodes is far from my favorite performer - but she does have a sexy on-screen attitude, so I can see why she appeals to many viewers. She pairs up with Mike John for scene three, and there's some anal towards the end of the action and some more ATM. Mike gives Alecia a pretty good oral shot when he cums...one which she gargles before she swallows.
Sable Simms is an average looking brunette who is either partially or completely Asian. This is the first scene I've seen her in, and while she does have a nice body (kind of petite, which turns me on), as a performer, I just don't see her going far in this business. Her scene is with Mike John - and is pretty average. No anal, nothing too kinky, and an oral shot at the conclusion.
Sable Simms plays a nice contrast to the next performer, Gia Paloma. Gia is easily the least attractive woman on this disc...but she's also possibly the nastiest - which means Gia has a much better chance of continuing in this industry than the more attractive - but also more inhibited - Sable. To give you an example of what Gia is like on screen, she immediately reminded me of a naughtier, less attractive version of Brooke Balentyne. She gets it on with Mike John here, and actually gets two facials from John...since he seems to be so turned on by Gia that he shoots a bit early and a bit off-target.
Last up is the oldest...but also the most attractive...woman on this DVD, a busty brunette performer named Laura Lion. This is Erik Everhard's second performance with a girl on this disc, and this is a nice one which includes anal in the doggy and missionary positions, some titty-sex (and who wouldn't want to with breasts like these?!) and a nice oral shot, which Laura swallows down.
Buyers of the DVD version of
POV Pervert 2 will also get a bonus scene (found in the extras menu) with brown-haired Misty. She does a POV scene with Mike John that includes missionary and doggy action. I did notice that some of the oral shot seems to drip out of her mouth (whether that's intentional or not is anyone's guess) - so that may be why this particular scene got relegated to the bonus section.
Other bonuses include a 10-mintue behind the scenes featurette, a photo gallery and the standard chapter selection.
This isn't a bad title, but it doesn't match the heat level generated by the first
POV Pervert release from Mike John. If you like the girls on the back of the box, go ahead and pick it up...if not, you may want to rent this one first before you make a purchasing decision.
