Thin is In! 4.5 out of 5.00 - Visual Appeal: 4 Recreational Value: 4 Tactile Appeal: 5 Durability: 5 - 10/27/2010
I have tried lots of tactics to try to get men (and myself) excited about using condoms. Ribbed condoms, extra lubricated condoms, fun colors, vibrating condoms, ones with a warming sensation (I really don't recommend these), have all been tried and have served their purpose. But, none of them have made the sensation any more pleasurable. For the most part, using condoms is a fruitless battle and the end result is either no sex at all, so-so sex, or unsafe sex. But, there are just too many options out there to give up the fight.

Men will complain about not being able to get off, or that the base of the condom is too tight, and most often that it just doesn't feel the same. Well, it's not the same for us either, but I have found that the best solution to all of this is the thin condom. The best solution for my partner and me is the thinnest condom you can find so that it feels like it's not even there. Ultimately, you want to achieve that skin-on-skin feeling and still have the peace of mind that you are being protected. The Durex Extra Sensitive Lubricated condom is probably the thinnest one I've felt and it seems to be very durable.

There's just enough lubricant on these condoms so that you don't have to worry about continuously reapplying lube. The base of the condom isn't too tight and surprisingly stays in place even during vigorous sex sessions. The only thing that makes this condom just like the others is the taste. If you're anything like me, you'll want to rip the love glove off of your man and suck him off when he's close to climaxing. Unless you want a flavored condom (which I think are worse) you will probably always get that latex taste.

I'm pretty sure we can all agree that skin-on-skin is the best way to get it on. If you want stay safe and still feel good, try out these super thin, extra sensitive condoms.

Give Durex a Try 4.5 out of 5.00 - Visual Appeal: 4 Recreational Value: 4 Tactile Appeal: 5 Durability: 5 - 5/6/2005
Condoms are all created equal, right? Actually, they're not. Some condoms are simply better than others, whether it's because they feel better, fit better, or simply don't break as much. So after I read the results of the Consumer Reports condom tests that named Durex Extra Sensitive the number one condom on the market, I thought that it worth a shot to try them out.

According to the Consumer Report study, these condoms have excellent strength and reliability and do so while being thinner than most condoms on the market. So, I took a box home and my boytoy and I got to work. Reviewing condoms is a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it, right?

After testing out the entire box, I was quite pleased with their performance. There was no breakage, slippage, or other defects. The sensation was pleasurable - especially compared to condoms of normal thickness. We used them for both vaginal and anal sex and had absolutely no problems with either.

If you're shopping around for a no-frills condom and aren't sure what brands or styles to trust, I wholeheartedly recommend giving Durex Extra Sensitive a try. They're shaped normally - no ribbing or pouches - with a reservoir tip and they seem to be sized well for use by all but the biggest of men.
