The big draw for
Unleashed is the pairing between Gina Lynn and Belladonna. Sadly it's the least entertaining of the five scenes on this disc - for reason's I'll get to later in this review. Fortunately, the other four scenes on the DVD aren't that bad...but all in all, this one still rates as an average adult release.
The first scene on the DVD is one of the best on the entire title, with sexy blonde Nikki Benz (who when this was filmed had just ended her contract with Pleasure Productions). This was one of Nikki's first gonzo scenes, and she seemed a little worried (at least in the behind the scenes featurette on this disc) about the guy being too rough with her. But I think once the sex started (with Brett Rockman), Nikki was so turned on, she didn't care how wild things got. To Brett's credit, he doesn't get too crazy with her...but they cover all of the standard positions, and the scene ends with a nice facial.
Newcomer Bobbi Sox is up next, and she's a blonde who does her very first scene in this video. She seems a bit older than most first-time adult stars (I'm guessing she's in her mid to late 20's, if not early 30's), but she doesn't do a bad job here, teaming up with a guy on some stairs for a scene that includes a lot of "throat fucking" (where the guy stands above her and forces his cock down into her open mouth). Like the first scene, this one also ends with a facial pop-shot - and a nice one, at that.
Scene Three is the only other boy/girl scene on this release, and it's the least-appealing of the three as brunette Lisa Marie gets it on with a guy. She warms him up with a blowjob, does some 69ing with him, and then gets his cock in the cowgirl, reverse cowgirl, spoon and doggy positions. Once again, things wrap up with a facial.
Before we get to the Belladonna encounter with Gina, we first get to see Gina make out with the busty Tanya Danielle - and it proves to be a much more entertaining girl/girl encounter. There's lots of oral and fingering in the scene, and there's a nice bit where the girls share a double dildo with each other while facing away from each other in the doggy position. They also do a bit of 69ing before the scene wraps up.
Now we get to the anticipated scene between Belladonna and Gina Lynn - and to be perfectly honest, it's a bit of a cheat. This isn't a full-blown sex scene, but rather video footage of a photo session that Gina and Bella did together. So the hot and heavy stuff is kept to a minimum, and while we do see some fingering and oral between the girls, it's more to appease the cameraman rather than the truly hot and heavy stuff you would expect in a girl/girl porn scene. To add insult to injury, the cameraman is constantly taking photographs, so the scene has continuous flashes throughout, which are a real distraction. Towards the end of the scene, director Travis Knight joins the photo shoot and we get to see him take Bella in both the reverse cowgirl and doggy positions - but, once again, because this is a photo shoot and not a full-blown sex scene, there's very little in the way of "bumping and grinding" and no cumshot whatsoever.
The video quality of the title is pretty decent, although the quality of the audio proves to be only average. Extras include an 11-minute behind the scenes featurette; a photo gallery and some trailers. There's a link to a "bonus scene" in the menu, which just takes you to a menu for the Gina/Bella scene in the movie - so this isn't bonus footage at all.
Oddly perhaps, this DVD appeals most to fans of Nikki Benz, while Gina Lynn fans will probably just want to rent it, and Belladonna fans can probably skip it all together. It's not exactly false advertising on the part of Exquisite, but this disc sure didn't deliver the kind of action between Gina and Bella that I thought it would.
