Janine returns in
The Villa, a feature that may well be one of her last ones for Vivid, since she recently signed a contract with Digital Playground. It begins as just another run-of-the-mill feature from Vivid, but has a nice twist in the last 20 minutes of the movie that pays off for viewers who have been paying attention to the plot.
Directed by Paul Thomas, this release is being heavily promoted as Janine's first boy/boy/girl scene - but those looking for Janine to take it from two guys at once may be disappointed by what they get here. The scene in question is the very first one in the film, and it's actually a boy/boy/girl/girl as Janine joins Julian, Evan Stone and Jassie for some action. However, there's hardly any switching of partners, as Janine teams up primarily with Julian and Evan pretty much sticks with Jassie. Jassie does get some standing doggy from Julian late in the scene, but I'm pretty sure that Evan doesn't penetrate Janine at all. It's a bit of a shame that Vivid chose to advertise the scene the way they did, because otherwise, the action is pretty fun to watch.
Evan plays a producer of adult material who encourages Janine to go off and enjoy his villa while she works on a script for her next adult film. Once Janine arrives at the villa, she finds herself drawn to a jogger (Nick Manning) who runs by the place every day and the first evening she is there, Janine masturbates in bed while thinking about him.
Meanwhile, downstairs, a threesome is going on between Haley Paige, Tianna Lynn and Vincent Vega that includes some squirting from Tianna. Janine hears them from upstairs and comes down to see the very end of the action. After the sex, there's a bit of an argument between Haley and Vincent, and Janine makes sure Vincent and Tianna leave the house. Janine then asks who Haley is, and she reveals that she is the daughter of the character being played by Evan Stone.
Janine becomes friends with the jogger played by Nick, and learns that he owns a local club, where she goes to meet him one night in the hopes of hooking up with him, but is interrupted by Tianna, whom Janine thinks Nick is fooling around with. Janine storms off after a fight with Nick, and Nick decides that since he's already been accused of fucking Tianna, he might as well do it - and takes her on top of the bar. Once again, we get a bit of squirting from Ms. Lynn, and the scene concludes with the best pop-shot of the film, as Nick jerks a nice load onto her face.
As Janine finally give up on Nick, she finds a growing attraction to Haley, and the two have a nice lesbian encounter which begins in the shower and continues in one of the other rooms in the house. Both women use toys on each other, and it's a very hot encounter to watch. As fun as it is seeing Janine doing men on screen, I still think her best-filmed scenes are with other ladies.
The movie takes a nice twist following a scene that matches Nick up with Haley. The results of this plot twist also lead to Janine making out with Dale DaBone (playing a gardener) for the final sex scene in the movie.
If you're a fan of Janine, Vivid has done a top-notch job with the bonus material - which includes five vintage scenes of Janine in girl/girl action from her earlier films. Also included in the supplemental material on this disc is a 20-minute behind the scenes featurette; a pair of slide shows; a text biography for Janine; and four trailers for other Vivid releases. Like many feature releases from Vivid, there are also multiple angle options for selected portions of the sex scenes in the movie.
I didn't like
The Villa quite as much as
Maneater (Janine's comeback movie, which was more of a gonzo flick than it was a feature), but there's still plenty of worthwhile action to check out here. Janine's fans certainly won't want to pass it up.
