Okay, I confess...I have the "hots" for Joanna Angel. Does that make me a little biased when reviewing her new DVD (which she also directed), Joanna's Angels? Probably. But what can I say? The woman just oozes "sexy"!

Although it falls into the feature genre, Joanna's Angels is more of a all-sex movie with some humorous skits wrapped around it. It certainly clocks in a bit longer than most adult features (roughly 153 minutes), but that's primarily because each of the five sex scenes are as long as what viewers would expect from a gonzo release, rather than a feature one.

The movie spoofs both Charlie's Angels and Kill Bill, and the opening scene introduces us to Joanna and her girlfriends - heavily tattooed brunette Kylee Kross and cute redhead Sabrina Sparx - with a three-way lesbian scene. The first half of this scene is the kind of girl-on-girl action that "purists" enjoy, with no toys and nothing but tongues and fingers being used. Two dildos are whipped out for the second half, plus an red jelly anal toy that Kylee lodges into Joanna's ass.

Scene Two has Sabrina getting into some boy/girl action with the husky and tattooed "Sleazy" Pete Swayzee, who catches Sabrina masturbating with a blue dildo and can't help but whip out his cock and start stroking. Scene Four is similar in that it also starts off as a one-on-one - this time between Kylee Kross and Tommy Pistol - and then Pinky Angel joins in on the fun. There's no anal here, but Tommy takes turns doing both girls (usually while the girl he's doing is licking out the other girl), with the conclusion having him jerking off onto Kylee's face.

The last scene begins with a humorous fight between Joanna and Tommy - whom she disposes of by clobbering with a tennis racket. Joanna then meets up with her "arch nemesis," played by Katrina Kraven. The girls get into some hot and heavy lesbian action, then are joined by James Deen, who winds up butt-fucking both girls in various positions. At the end of the scene, he shoots the majority of his cum onto his own hand so he can then rub it into Katrina's face.

There are a few things about Joanna's Angels that were a touch disappointing being a long-term adult viewer. First, while the actual transfer by VCA onto the digital format is quite good, the movie itself suffers from a few sexual angles during each of the scenes that are not as well lit as they should have been. The audio is also occasionally a problem, with some scenes' dialogue harder to pick up than others.

The bonus features only rank as average - mainly because both the behind the scenes segment and the outtakes segment offered are only a few minutes each. There's also a slide show, some trailers, and the ability to jump into one's favorite portion of each of the movie's five sex scenes.

If you've never seen Joanna Angel before, this is your big chance to jump on the bandwagon early - because my guess is she's about to become a fan-favorite and one of adult's more popular stars. Her scenes here are all fun to watch, and while the overall movie and the DVD wasn't as good as it might or could have been, there's more than enough here to warrant adding Joanna's Angels to your collection.

Now this movie rocks! Until now most punk-rock porn movies have pretty much sucked...mainly because the girls were not that hot. However, Joanna is completely different. Here we have a cute punk-rock chick...and the sex is really good too!
