I was a real goody-goody at school and worked hard, despite being distracted by an occasional boyfriend or two! I went on from school to study Theatre, Media, Dance, and Psychology at 'A' level and passed with good grades.
I had started work at the age of fourteen as a waitress serving the English tradition of fish and chips! I later worked in a hotel as a waitress, receptionist and bar- maid. The hotel is built over an old network of caves used by smugglers to smuggle goods from the sea to the town and is haunted so I experienced a few weird incidents within my time there.
I've had the good fortune to have already traveled quite a bit. When I was fifteen I took part in the last leg of the Tall Ships Race sailing from Stavanger, Norway to Gothenburg, Sweden and then to Rotterdam, it was the best month of my life, (nothing to do with my crush on the skipper!). I've also visited Amsterdam and Paris and backpacked around Australia and Malaysia.
I started modeling in London at the age of 18, with my first ever video audition with the great guys at TM Video Productions and then working for various publications including Club magazine and starring in Ben Dover's End Games. I didn't find posing nude strange at all, it actually came quite naturally to me, I loved working with Mike from TM Video and Mr. Ben Dover, having sex on camera just added to the excitement and within a short time in the industry I had already fulfilled some of my wildest fantasies!
I came out to LA for the first time in April 2001 for two weeks shooting for (among others) New Sensations and Peter North. I loved my time here and returned to England to finish my exams. I moved out to LA in July of last year and am loving every minute.
It has been an amazing year. I continued to work for several video companies such as Metro and Elegant Angel and shot for various photographers appearing on the cover of Swank magazine in January 2002. I attended the CES convention in Las Vegas, this was my first convention and first opportunity to meet the fans, although over - whelming to begin with everyone I met was great and I had a fantastic time. I was signing for Legend Video and it was there that they offered me an exclusive contract. I couldn't believe my luck and of course accepted. I now shoot two movies per month for Jerome Tanner and two movies for David 'Pussyman' Christopher, I couldn't have asked for better directors. The contract started in February 2002 and I couldn't be enjoying it more.
I shot for Penthouse and became Pet of the Month in April 2002 and also Hustler cover girl and centerfold in May 2002. To my surprise the two publications were out on the news-stand together.
I was named one of AVN's 15 people in the industry to watch appearing on the cover of their June issue and appeared again in September's 'Penthouse' magazine in a boy/girl layout with Ben English, (a fairly new but absolutely gorgeous actor!).
I have been featured in High Society, Swank and on the cover of Taboo, I have shot a boy/girl layout for Hustler and shot for Hustler XXX.
I attended the tenth Nightmoves award show in September and was awarded Best New Starlet.
I am preparing to dance as a feature at various venues around the U.S. and am about to launch my own line of toys within Legend Toyz plus of course I'm always working to run and update this site, so I think you'll agree it's been an exciting and eventful year! I can't wait for the next.

PornstarEmpire.com: Now I detected a bit of an accent... Are you from the Bronx?
Hannah Harper: [laughs] Close, I'm from England.
Q: What was growing up in England like?
Hannah Harper: I grew up in a very small fishing village, so if the sun was shining it was great. The beach and the water... going out sailing with my Dad. But when it's rainy it's boring!
Q: How long have you been in America?
Hannah Harper: Two years.
Q: How do you like it?
Hannah Harper: I've been in L.A. the whole two years and the more I'm here the more I like it. I think it's just a case of when I came out here I missed England, but I've got friends out here. I know my way around the Valley, at least, without getting hopelessly lost. I drive now...when I first came out here I didn't drive. Things like that make a big difference. The climate is great. It's lovely to wake up everyday with the sun shining.
Q: How did you get in the adult film business?
Hannah Harper: I started in England. I worked for Bend Over and did some stuff for Club Magazine. It wasn't really my idea. I don't think I would've naturally come to the industry myself. But the boyfriend I had in England thought it would be a great idea.
Q: Why the adult business?
Hannah Harper: Together sexually we were quite adventurous. So maybe in his mind that was the next step, and he pushed and pushed and said I should do it. Eventually I gave in and went up and did a photo shoot and loved it. The rest is history, I guess.
Q: How long have you been in the business?
Hannah Harper: Two years.
Q: Are you getting tired of it? You still like it?
Hannah Harper: No, I think being under contract makes a huge difference. I think if you are working everyday for a lot of different companies then you can get tired of the industry very easily - both mentally and physically. I worked for six months when I first came out here. You know, freelance. Working six, seven times a week. But I love the industry. I love being under contract.
Q: Now that brings us today...you just signed a contract with Sin City. Why did you decide to do that?
Hannah Harper: I very recently signed a contract with Sin City. We signed it about a week ago. Before them I had been with Legend for a year. As I say, I like being under contract. As a person I am not the extrovert. That does sound a bit strange. I am in front of the camera, but naturally I am quite shy. I find it quite hard to mingle with a whole new bunch of people everyday. I love working for the same crew and director every month. You know what the director wants from you and you can give it to him month after month... Sin City... I never worked for before, this is my first shoot for them, but I had always admired their advertisements. The girls looked great. When the contract was offered to me I was excited me. They seem like a great company. I've been with them a week so...
Q: Who haven't you worked with that you want to?
Hannah Harper: I've never worked with Michael Stefano. I worked with his wife, Jewel DeNyle the other day. I've wanted to work with Jewel for a while now, so I did a scene with her. Tera Patrick I would love to work with. But you know of course... maybe we won't go there.
Q: What won't you do on camera?
Hannah Harper: I can tell you what I've never done. I've never done interracial. I've never done an internal cumshot. And I am not very good at peeing on camera. It's not something I'm against and won't do, it's just that I can't do it.
Q: Going back to the England days...What are the differences between the English adult film industry and the American adult film industry?
Hannah Harper: To be honest there really isn't very much of an industry in England at all. I certainly wouldn't be in it still if I hadn't come to America. There just isn't the money put into the industry so the rates are a lot lower. You don't shoot in beautiful locations. Because of this lack of money it tends to be a lot seedier. You're just not treated as well.
Q: Now what's you personal life like?
Hannah Harper: I'm actually almost married to Ben English. I say "almost" - we should be married by the end of the month, hopefully.
