Rick Savage's Biography

Born in Yonkers, New York, Rick Savage has been performing creatively his whole life. He had scholarships to the Boston Ballet, and then to the Boston Conservatory and performed with several modern dance companies before getting into porn at age 32. His first hardcore porn performance was in the movie "Nasty Lady," in 1982. He went on to perform for a number of hardcore directors over the years, including Mitchell Brothers, Anthony Spinelli, Scotty Fox, Alex DeRenzy, Henri Pachard, and many more.

Savage wasn't just performing in hardcore films, however. He had two distinctly different careers in video. He worked on his first fetish flick, "Spanked Employees," in 1986. Bizarre video liked his work and subsequently hired him to work in many other productions over the next several years. With all that fetish and hardcore work under his belt, Savage began directing porn and fetish videos during the 90's. He loved the freedom directing gave him to be creative and kinky. That freedom resulted in the popular "Streets of New York" series, among many other projects.

For the better part of the last decade, Savage has focused mainly on making fetish videos. He has directed movies for several big fetish studios. He directed the series S&M MechanicSubmission in Hellfire, and Den of Punishment for Noose video. For Outlaw Productions his series Pain Slut and Over the Knee have been wildly successful. He directed Pinned, Pinned Again, and Extreme Tit Torment for Galaxy, of which the latter is their top seller. Some of his most creative work comes from his own studio (Rick Savage) where he has directed and performed with a variety of talent, including Julie Simone, Sara Jay, and many more. In a recent interview for a French adult magazine, Savage was asked why he thought his movies were so successful. He replied, "I respect the viewer. I respect the person who is going to buy the video. He's paying; he deserves quality. So, in every moment that I'm directing a movie, I try my best. I want to give that viewer something good. Something real! That's all." That dedication to authentic fetish material for the sake of his audience is what makes Rick Savage such a master of his craft.
