Early Years Modeling & Porn Debut

Latina actress Maria de Sanchez came to the adult film industry quite naturally. In the early 90s, she was working as a stripper in Tenerife when she and her husband decided to get involved in the Spanish porn industry. Being swingers, the idea of getting paid to have sex was ideal. She began modeling and soon moved on to hardcore movie performances. In 1995, Sanchez auditioned for Pierre Woodman of Private and eventually was cast in a number of his movies. Despite appearing in a number of Private movies, Sanchez remained relatively unknown outside of Spain. Her big break came when she was cast in the 1995 film Carmen. Her two scenes became the most popular parts of the film and she was cast in the follow-up film Flamenco Extasy in 1996. Then in 1997, the American market took notice of Sanchez when she performed in the John Stagliano film Buttman In Barcelona.

Coming to America

In 1997, Sanchez moved to the States to work. However, she soon returned to Barcelona but continued to work for American directors such as John Leslie, who used her in the film The Voyeur 7 in 1998. She worked with some of the porn industry's most well known production companies, such as Plum Productions, Mario Salieri Entertainment Group, Devil's Film, Evil Angel, and many more. But in 1999, Sanchez retired from acting in adult films in order to focus on modeling and running a swingers club called Mode Bar that she opened in Tenerife with her husband in 1996. Although she never made a full comeback to porn, Sanchez did appear in a few movies from 2002-2006.
