Mila Blaze obtained her Bachelor's degree from George Mason University, and worked as a register nurse. Disputes with her supervisor spurred her to move on to the adult film industry, stating that "I feel I've found somewhere where I belong. Where I fit in. People get my jokes. I'm finding my place."

First performing under the name Mila Castro, and would later on change her moniker to Mila Blaze. Most notably, Mila appeared in Will Ryder's Jersey Boys parody. She mainly appears in girl-on-girl scenes, as well as boy-on-girl, scenes, and is a constant in the series Strapon Squad. Her popularity soared, and in direct relation to that, Mila broke into mainstream; a runway model at Fashion Week in New York, Miami, and Baltimore, modeling for High Times magazine, and being an extra in The Walking Dead.
